District Mission Statement
• We believe that it is the responsibility of the Long Hill Township Board of Education to provide an educational climate that stresses high academic achievement and will permit students to grow socially, physically, intellectually, morally and emotionally so that they may become happy, useful and self-supporting citizens, within the limits of their individual abilities and interests. We believe in each individual’s worth and dignity as a person.

Meeting 2 - Dreams• Brainstorm what your group’s ideal vision is
of the Long Hill Township School District 5 years from now (without restrictions).
• Report your findings to the large group.
• Identify common threads -
4 - 5 goal areas(All findings will be recorded on the district’s website.)
Meeting 2 – DreamsGroup Work
• Break into groups of 8 -10 people by the colored dot on your name tag.
• Try to get a balanced cross section of parents, staff, community members, board members, etc. in each group.
• Assign a scribe and a person to
report out on your group’s findings
