The colors in children's interiorsColors a�ect our psyche. In creating the LOKKI interior we start from the harmony of nature.

We use a combination of shades and colors that are in di�erent proportions and intensity occuring

around us and which we subconsciously perceive as pleasant. Blue sunny summer

skies in combination with green meadows and small accents of colorful �owers

evoke the atmosphere of joyful activity. Green moss with shades of warm beige and brown is calming.

Light yellow tones of dry grass, orange mushroom hats and the sun overhead o�er again a revival.

designEva SýkorováMgr. Eva Sýkorová - artist and designer of children's interior brand LOKKI

She lives in Pilsen and in the countryside, where the beautiful Bohemian Forest (Šumava)

nature inspires her. After completing her studies of art education and the teaching faculty

in the Czech Republic, she began to focus mainly on illustrating storybooks.

The desire to place pictures into real spaces was the beginning of the design

of three-dimensional decorations for children and children's corners.

For already more than thirteen years, many kindergarten and hospital interiors portray

her work in new classrooms, play rooms, change rooms, as well as images on facades

with her distinctive handwriting.

"Since my childhood I’ve wondered how I can positively and easily change the space around me.

A box turns into a treasure chest with wings and a bed swinging on lianas of a rainforest.

A pleasant environment gives us a sense of security and harmony, it a�ects our mood and creativity.

It can act to calm us or vice versa to motivate us into action. For many of us, these sensations are

associated with picnics. To indulge in a natural forest environment, the countryside, the mountains

or the sea is not always easy or possible.

When working in kindergartens and hospitals I am increasingly aware, that it makes sense

to address children's interiors. Together with them I embark on a journey of transformation

from ordinary classrooms, corridors, waiting rooms and surgeries into extraordinary and entertaining

worlds of pixies, gnomes and fairies. I welcome anyone who can see the magic in simple things.“

On the merry strings

Rope boards can be combined according to the width of the wall.

Do you need to �ll in spaces such as long hallways? An ideal option

in this case are rope boards type A and B - they allow for the placement

of up to 64 pieces of A4 images. The practical central anchor prevents

the rope from sagging.

Type C is suitable for the changing room and the classroom.

Thematic decorations on both sides of the board provides a framework

picture gallery. On this type of board you can hang

up to 32 pieces of A4 images.

Types D and E are suitable for small rooms, the boards have narrow

end anchors at one or both ends that precisely de�ne the rope axis,

but also leave more space for pictures

On the following pages you will �nd the most popular pair of rope boards,

individual components can be freely combined with each other

and complement central or end anchors.

Corkboards are used for placing information and teaching materials and children's work.

The coloured frame board helps thematically align the class, the change room or the entire ward.

We use high quality grained cork with a thickness of 6 mm, which is soaked in linseed oil.

Thanks to the material composition the boards are very strong and dimensionally stable.

Corkboards

Magnetic boards o�er the same design as cork boards. The size of the magnetic boards

is uniform - width of 120 cm and a height of 90 cm. The magnetic board with a white lacquered

surface is suitable for writing with a marker. It also includes a shelf for markers.

The decorative archs above the boards from pages 23-26 can be ordered separately

and used as an independent decoration.

Each sheet contains thirty stickers with di�erent

distinguishing symbols. Sticker size: 3.7 x 3.7 cm,

laminated glossy surface, 4 kinds of motives.

Tip: Before applying the stickers the surfaces should

be thoroughly cleaned and degreased with an alcohol cleaner.

Stickers then stay on excellently and don’t come o�!

Paper stickers

A set of 30 pieces of self-adhesive plastic squares with di�erent

distinguishing symbols. Sign size: 3.7 x 3.7 x 0.15 cm

Material: waterproof hard plastic that adheres very well

to almost any cleaned surface.

Drawing corner

Our goal is to create a pleasant atmosphere for children in unfamiliar

surroundings that distract their attention from the expected

examinations or treatment. Thanks to the drawing table, play house

and interactive boards, little patients and their parents spend

time in the waiting room in a relaxed atmosphere

without undue stress. The drawing corner is also

suitable for smaller spaces. Compact parts
