Combination Mark:

Combination Mark is a kind of logo design with both logotype

and a symbol/icon that conveys the brand image that you wish

to create for your company or organization. Concise text can

complement an icon or symbol, providing supplemental clarity

as to what your enterprise is all about.

For the brand design of Chitrokolpo we recommend

Combination Mark. Suggested Symbols and Logotypes are

presented here.

Inspiration :

Human-centered design is a

creative approach to problem

solving. It's a process that

starts with the people you're

designing for and ends with

new solutions that are tailor

made to suit their needs.

Inspirat ion is the most

important part of this design

process.

For the inspiration of a logo

design we tend to start with

something so simple

that even a child can relate to

and can imitate without

much effort.

We followed an effective

process called Card Sorting

to generate the inspirations

of the logo design project

where we found some ideas

that can actually create

impact on the audience of

this logo.

For this particular logo we

started with a basic pentagon

then created a star within the

end points to create an

impression of the human

body- a star man. Then the

star was tilted a little to make

the star man more dynamic.

Circles were added on the tips of the star to create a bold

impression of the human body. The circles maintained the

golden ratio with one another for better aesthetic and pleasing

proportions.

Interpreting animal symbolism is a powerful way to connect with nature, and learn lessons from her creatures - lessons that we can

apply to our own lives. Observing the butterfly and learning her symbolic meanings offers us an opportunity to apply her movements

to our own lives. Overwhelmingly, cultural myth and lore honor the butterfly as a symbol of transformation because of its impressive

process of metamorphosis. From egg, to larvae (caterpillar), to pupa (the chrysalis or cocoon) and from the cocoon the butterfly

emerges in her unfurling glory. What a massive amount of transition this tiny creature undergoes. Consider for a moment the kind of

energy this expends. Butterflies are deep and powerful representations of life. Many cultures associate the butterfly with our souls.

The Christian religion sees the butterfly as a symbol of resurrection. Around the world, people view the butterfly as representing

endurance, change, hope, and life.

This is a representation of how the symbol would look when placed beside the logotype.

Incorporating two elements into a single icon is an effective

way to design fusion symbols. This one is an example of

infusing an eye into a hot-air balloon fashioned in a minimalist

way.

Eyes are probably the most important symbolic sensory organ.

They can represent clairvoyance, omniscience, and/or a

gateway into the soul. Other qualities that eyes are commonly

associated with are: intelligence, light, vigilance, moral

conscience, and truth. Looking someone in the eye is a custom

of honesty.

The balloon is a double-archetype of childhood innocence and

total freedom. A hot-air balloon in the sky may symbolize either

(a desire for) freedom from the problems associated with your

daily existence, or the achieving of an objective, detached or

more spiritual view of things.

We believe that the best way to start designing a custom font is

to emphasize on the proportions.

So we started the designing process with proportions, we took

a golden rectangle to develop the logotype with pleasing height

and width ratio.

To make the logotype more friendly looking we kept the corners

chamfered and in some cases rounded. Minimalist approach

was followed while designing the font with straight and curved

lines.

Serif, Sans-serif and Cursive fonts are different in nature, proportions and uses. Bangla fonts have different aesthetics than English

fonts. Keeping that in mind, we had to treat each letters individually to keep their proportional beauty and characteristics intact .

Bangla has an exclusive nature to attach one letter to another. Interesting things start to happen when we explore the possibilities

of such complex typography to achieve something simple yet balanced, proportionate and harmonious.

Each character has its unique story. A designer must listen to

the story and recreate the character keeping the original

storyline.

It is fascinating how the experiments bring different results and

possibilities!
