Logic is insufficient in explaining human morality. In a situation of choice between death or saving an innocent kid, its logical to do either of those or we might say its illogical to do either of those. Logic does not explain what is theright thing to do in all situations. To romanticize logic and reason is to dismiss the fact that not only logic is only a part of human perception but logic's relative tendency of morality. Then how can logic perse can used to derive morality?
But does Bible/word of God give 'clear' solutions to these areas say in that situation? If it can't am I being biased of logic's insufficiency? Everything is insufficient then. Isn't it?------------------------------------------------------
Does self perecived morality exist amongst the christian followers which are very little inspired by the Bible and more to do with the socio-cultural scenario?
Eg: Drinking,smoking-falling in love(is more like a sin and totally condemned in place. We are not talking of sexual immorality here)
If it does, is it a problem to the idea of Christian morality or how do we understand moral relativism in this context within Christianity.
