The cinema closed at 11 pm the previous night and there was no sign of anybody around at this time. The youth and his friends left for cinema around 7 pm and were expected to arrive home at 10 pm last night. How-ever they didnt arrive home at such time.

The cinema where the youth was murdered.

One of the friends gave a statement saying, that a large number of people all wearing hoodies approached the youth as he left the cin-ema. One of the people shouted abuse at the youth and started de-mading money and his phone from him. How-ever the youth did not agree and his friends tried to separate him from the people. As the group of friends were walking away from the cinema the large group of people returned and attacked the youth.

LOCAL YOUTH MURDERED

The police are now search-ing for any evidence to help capture the young people who attacked and murdered the youth. The police have viewed some cctv images from the cinema and the image they have viewed have confirmed that what the youths freinds said is correct. Most of the young people involved in threatning, attack-ing and murdering the youth all had there hoods up so it has been hard to identify any of them however one of the young people that first ap-proached the youth pulled his hood down as the youths friends tried to seperate the argument. The police now have a name of this person and will be following this up with hope that they can get more names, and they will find the people who are re-sponsible for the death of the local youth. It is unfortunate that there was nobody else around ex-cept for the cinema staff, they however were all inside when the event happened and so there are no eye witness’s to the event.

MYSTERIOUS CREATURE SPOTTED IN THE CANALSLocal dog walkers took this photo yesterday when they say a large bird like creature on the other side of canal. Many scientists have said it is just a hoax. However the people who live in the house near the canal say they havn’t ever seen any-thing like this before. The local dog walkers who took the photo said they always take that route and have never seen any-thing like this before. The spotted it and the creature let out a high pitch howl, so the dog walker reached for there phone and took a photo of the unknown crea-ture.

However many scientists have viewed the image and have said this could just be a perfectly normal large bird. Also that the reason it is mysterious is that they are rarely seen in these waters and that they only come tot the canals and rivers maybe once or twice every year. Many monster chas-ers are now spending a lot of time down at the canal searching for this unknown creature, however as of now no more evidence has been found. If you find anymore evidence then log on to The Universe website and show us your evidence.

We interviewed several neighbours who live close by to the cinema and asked them for their thoughts on what had happened that night. An elderly lady had this to say, ‘ I’ve lived here all my life and i have seen many changes to the area and heard many stories, but this is the worst i have ever heard of and i never expected anything like this to happen around here. This has made me frightened to leave my house. I now ask my reletavies and friends to come with me when i want to go out’. The police have told us they are do-ing there best to find those responsible and would like anybody with information on what happened that night to come and speak to us.

STREET RACING ACCIDENT LEAVES 3 DEADBy John David

Hundreds were devastated last night when, thousands of peo-ple had turned out for an illegal street race, two cars collided in a race killing both the drivers one of the passengers and injured 20 bystanders. No names have been released yet it is suspected that the drivers where both under the age of 20. The 2 cars where a Peugeot 106 and a Citroen Saxo, the Citroen clipped the side of the Peugeot during the race when the driver tried to overtake, sending both cars flying, one landing in a wall on the side of the road and the over smashed into the side of it. One of the bystanders that wasn’t injured was interview on the situa-tion, she told reporters that it was a regularly occurrence, the racing, this was the first major incident. The police knew about the racing that happened but they did not know the specific days when races would happen.”Another bystander who wit-nessed the event had this to say, “Po-lice only ever came to the street rac-ing area when there were complaints, so as soon as they knew police were on the way everybody would leave, and then wait for the police to leave the area and carry on racing” Local residents of the area have told us that this illegal street racing hap-pens weekly with well over 200 cars attented and joining in, an well over a thousand people, who come to the races just to watch. These races are extremly dangerous as over the last few years the number of car crash related incidents has risen in this area. This is the first time there has been a death from the street races. One of the eye witness’s has told us this, ‘It was horrible, i was watch-ing like i always do, i wouldbnt want to join in, i just like watching the street races. I was standing there when i heard a loud crash followed by screams, when i turned to look i just saw the two cars that had crashed an hundreds of people running over to them.’ We also asked the police officer who is dealing with this to give us his thoughts. ‘We know there has been this problem of illeagal street racing for years, and we are trying to stop it. The goverment is now making plans to build a local race course were drivers can go and race for free and legally. We hope this will reduce the number of illegal street races and try to pre-vent accidents like this happening again’
