We are thrilled you’ll be joining us as a festival
exhibitor for the 10th Dempsey Challenge! The
weekend is packed full of exciting happenings. In
addition to the run/walk and cycle, we’re hosting a
Concert in the Park, an Open House at the
Dempsey Center; a free and family-friendly
Festival in the Park; Amgen Breakaway from
Cancer Survivor Walk; Kids’ Fun Run presented by
Cigna, and much more! A full schedule is in this
guide.
The Dempsey Challenge is the primary fundraising experience for the Dempsey Centers in Lewiston and now in South Portland. Every dollar raised by Dempsey Challenge participants allows the Dempsey Center to continue to provide support, education and complementary therapies to anyone impacted by cancer at no cost. We also want to thank those of you with items or services for sale that have offered to donate a portion of your proceeds back to the cause, which allows more funds to be used for free services for cancer patients, caregivers and their families. Your generosity is appreciated by many. Thank you for joining with us to champion a culture of celebrating community and paying it forward. Please review this Exhibitor Guide carefully and
contact us with questions. Sincerely, Shelemiah Baiei Makinen Festival Coordinator Cell: 904-304-3269 Maureen Higgins Heath & Wellness Expo Coordinator Cell: 207-632-9283 Alyson Daniels KidZone Coordinator Cell: 207-754-2815 Bob Bowman Production Manager, Medalist Sports Cell: 540-529-9151

Upon arrival please allow yourself enough time to
do the following: 1) Please park in vendor parking lot first and
flag down a staff member or volunteer if you need assistance transporting supplies to your tent. During Load-In and Load-Out hours, staff and volunteers with golf carts will be available to assist with supplies. A parking map and pass are included in this
document. Please see parking info below.
2) Arrive at the Festival area and check in with
one of the Festival Site Coordinators. Their contact info is on the left. Please ensure we have the best mobile phone contact number for the staff at your booth during event weekend. Although overnight security will be provided in the Park September 27-30, we suggest you do not leave items of value in the park overnight.
I F I T R A I N S Even if you have been previously been granted permission to drive on the grass, plans will change if the field is soggy and vulnerable to damage. Please check-in with festival site coordinators before attempting to drive onto the grass, in any condition.
