People who are believed to have participated in the Battle of the
Alamo, February 23- March 6, 1836, on the Texan side, are listed hem.
The first report of the names of the Tcxian victims of the battle came in
the March 24, 1836 issue of the Telegraph and TaIlS Register. The
l1S names on that list were supplied by couriers John Smith and Gerald Navan. [I]

afterwards, the action angered
many and was partially responsible
for the decision for Bowie and Travis to share command. [58]
