Hawaiki is a 15,000km high capacity cable connecting Australia and New Zealand to the mainland US,

as well as American Samoa and Hawaii, including potential future connections to New Caledonia, Fiji and Tonga. In order to meet the growing demand for bandwidth in the Pacific region, Hawaiki cable offers high-speed, low latency connectivity with the latest technology.

The system is now ready for service. Hawaiki is a privately owned, carrier neutral cable system. Vodafone is one of the anchor customers on the system and will be able to deliver tailored capacity solutions.

Connectivity and landing points Hawaiki landing points include Sydney (Australia), Mangawhai Heads (New Zealand), Tafuna (American Samoa), Kapolei (Hawaii, USA), Pacific City (Oregon, USA) and stubbed branching units to allow future connections to New Caledonia, Fiji and Tonga.
