Lindab Safe Click can be used anywhere where there are

stringent demands for tightness. Lindab Safe Click can

be used anywhere where there are stringent demands

for tightness. Especially within Marine installations where

mounting space often is limited, you will obtain a lot of

benefits using this system.

Optimization of the tightness in the joints, and thus the

entire duct system is of great significance in the context of

the ever-increasing focus on energy efficient and energy

saving installations.

The system is quickly and easily installed, especially where

space is limited, and you will get the correct installation

every time. Installation times can be reduced by about

10 % using Lindab Safe Click compared with the traditional

Lindab Safe system or other equivalent systems on the

market.

The system is easier to clean inside, because there are only

very few points from screws or pop rivets.

Lindab Safe Click is based on our well-known and fully

tested product programme Lindab Safe, which has been

on the market for more than 35 years. Lindab Safe Click is

available in the dimensions Ø 80 mm – Ø 315 mm. Available

dimensions may however differ from market to market.

Lindab Safe Click can be provided for products

manufactured of galvanized sheet metal.

Future duct systems installed with a minimum number of screws or pop rivets.

Lindab Safe Click lets you take duct installation into your

own hands. The system is based on our well-known, tested

and documented Lindab Safe system. It is compatible with

both Lindab’s existing systems and other systems on the

market. The system offers numerous advantages.

system solution

At Lindab we work continuously to simplify and prepare our

solutions. One of the results is Lindab Safe Click. The duct

system based on our renowned, tested and documented

system, Lindab Safe. Lindab Safe Click provides a significant

number of advantages, concerning both installation (including

time and ergonomics) and tightness, and thereby operation

and economy.

TÜV document the advantages of the various systems

TÜV have tested and documented the advantages of the

various systems. They have monitored the installations

and tested five duct systems from Lindab, and compared

the results taking into consideration costs, tightness and

installation. Their test results enable you to gain a quick

overview of the documented advantages of choosing Lindab

Safe Click.

regarded as a typical sub-system in a ventilation system

The systems’ tightness was tested using

Lindab’s Leakage Tester. A tight solution

means a reduced energy consumption.

The results show that Lindab Safe and

Lindab Safe Click obtained the best

results and were classified in Tightness

Class D for measurements taken at both

400 Pa and -750 Pa. This is far better

than the other duct systems, classified

as Tightness Class B (C).

Operational advantages

• A minimum number of holes from

screws or rivets in the duct system

and consequently a tighter system

– with resulting lower operational costs

• Few sharp points from screws

or rivets in the ducts.

• The ducts are easier to clean and the

risk of bacterial growth is consequently

lower. Providing better hygiene.

Thorough and well-documented tests

TÜV acts as guarantor for the tests, which are impartial,

thorough and well-documented – down to the last detail.

For the purpose of the tests the five duct systems were

assembled in the ceiling using the same basic sketch,

and for the installation all the steps were carried out once

more, enabling all the systems to be compared in exactly

the same manner.

All the leakage test measurements of the duct systems

were carried out in accordance with EN 12237 (circular)

and EN 1507 (rectangular).

Conclusion: You get a better solution

You achieve a better solution when you choose Lindab

Safe Click. TÜV emphasize that the duct system supplied

with prefabricated leak proofing systems from the supplier

has the advantage over systems that require leak proofing

on site, which is more difficult to achieve.

Lindab Safe Click allows you to minimise the risk of

incorrect installation which is paramount to the quality

of the solution. In this way you will be able to achieve

better tightness of the duct system and a reduced

energy consumption. This is of consequence for both the

environment and the economy in the long term.

TÜV’s conclusion is that Lindab Safe Click distinguishes

itself by a faster installation, better tightness and lower

total costs compared to other systems on the market.

Lindab Safe Click, on that basis, is the most advantageous

duct system.

How can you use TÜV’s figures? It rather depends on whether you are designing, purchasing or installing. Let’s make a few comments about the individual results.

The main conclusions arrived at by TÜV were that when choosing

Lindab Safe Click you will achieve a shorter installation time, lower

costs and better tightness in the chosen ventilation solution.

This entails lower operational costs.

Pliers for the cutter

A large range of dimensions

We have pliers for adding notches on to the Lindab Safe

Click ducts. We provide you with two different pliers

suitable for sizes Ø 80 mm – Ø 224 mm and Ø 250 mm

– Ø 315 mm, which both are smaller and lighter than the

former plier.

We have made a complete guide of instructions showing

you how easy the assembly of Lindab Safe Click is and

how to solve different assembly situations. We have also

made a pocket guide to make Offset calculations easier.

Instead of using your time to measure and test duct lengths

you can use the guide!

The Lindab Safe Click range of circular ducts and fittings

is now available in many dimensions. The programme is

extended to include dimensions from Ø 80 mm – Ø 315 mm

and you can also order additional sizes.

SR Roller for the large dimensions

The SR Cutterimproves ergonomicson the building site

For dimensions larger than Ø 315 mm we have an

ergonomic solution that makes the cutting of large ducts

safe and easy: SR Roller. Place the duct on the SR

Rollers to move it easily while cutting with the nibbler

from the SR Cutter.

The SR Cutter offers you better working conditions

and makes it physically less demanding to cut ducts.

You get a precise and clean cut of ducts – every time.

We have improved the SR Cutter in several ways. First of

all you get improved pliers and knife arm. Furthermore, a

new handle makes the SR Cutter even easier to bring to

the building site and to move around. The SR Cutter is

both CE and TÜV certified.
