The Advocate newspaper would like to showcase images from Louisiana Photographic Society members on their website. The current plan is for images to change quarterly. In order for this to work we must follow very specific guidelines for uploading the images. To the best of my knowledge I have prepared a guide using Photoshop, Lightroom and Bridge to accomplish this. A two to three sentence capon that explains the who, what, when and where the image was taken MUST BE INCLUDED. A code is no longer needed. Images MUST be no smaller than 1 meg and no larger than 4 meg and saved as .jpg files. Lightroom CC Instrucons Open your catalog and navigate to the image you want to submit. 1- On the right hand side of the screen, expand the metadata tab. 2—You will need to change the lisngs from default to EXIF and IPTC 1 2

Lightroom CC Instructions Open your catalog and navigate to the image you want to submit.

3—Locate the Caption field and enter the Who, What, When and Where information.

Now you are ready to export the image. Do not worry about size or resizing. The Advocate will take care of

that for us.

4—Be sure Include All Metadata is selected.

5—Put LPS Advocate images in the subject line and email image(s) to [email protected]

Photoshop CC 1—Open the desired image in Photoshop.

2—From the menu bar at the top choose File > File Info

3— Enter the Who, What, When, Where in the Description field.

4—Click OK and save image

5—Put LPS Advocate images in the subject line and email image(s) to [email protected]
