Upon entering All Bar One you are hit with the sheerlight from 2 sides of the venue, along with the scent ofpine shavings. As a first impression, it was lasting in allthe right ways. Everything looked so incredibly clean, Iespecially liked the boxes of lemons and limes on thetables. The condiments were presented in a woodenwine case, just those little touches made it warm andcosy.

Meeting a friend for lunch, we were seating quicklyand offered a cocktail. We both chose a Softail asalcohol and lunch didn't mix well for us. I chose thebitter lemon cocktail and my friend told me he haddrink envy as it was so refreshing!

All Bar One is part of a national chain but you certainlyget the personal service here. Whether you go for adrink after work or enjoy a meal here, you will be welllooked after by the staff who genuinely look as if theyenjoy working there. That makes such a difference.

Everyday the restaurant does a daily dining special, such as veal schnitzel, lamb shepherds pie or slowcooked beef with a truffle and herb sauce. The menu issimple, I much prefer two pages of choice rather thana whole booklet. For starters I opted for the sesametempura chicken fillet served with a cucumber saladand a soy and wasabi dipping sauce. (£5.45) My friendhad the tiger prawns and chorizo in a spring onionbutter, (£4.75) which was apparently the chef's choice!

For mains everything looked tantalising but we bothopted for the venison medallions in a rosemary jus, daughinoise potatoes, sauteed spinach and crush

butternut squash and carrots. (£15.95) The gravy wasjust divine and we ordered some french fried and abowl of gravy to dip in as well. The meal was farbeyond our expectations in terms of taste, presentation and quality customer service. All Bar Oneticks all the boxes and it must do for the other dinersas for a Thursday lunchtime on a cold January day, itwas absolutely packed. The customers ranged fromcity slickers, shoppers taking a breather and familieswith small children, so it really does appeal toeveryone and there is something on the menu to suitall tastes and budgets. You can chose 3 starters as atapas style meal for £15, sharing platters from £29.95.A typical main course is £9.95.

Our lovely waiter brought us some lattes and anenormous warm chocolate brownie with vanilla icecream to finish off a perfect lunch.

I am now in full swing of my beachbody workout and Kane is reallyputting me through my paces toensure I look fit in my bikini. I havestepped up the routine to three hourlong sessions a week.

They consist of extreme cardiovascular workouts. On my resting daysI am creaking around so much withmuscle ache there’s no time to fullyrecover before the next session begins.

However I am not complaining becausewhen I feel the muscle ache I know Iam doing something right. It acts as adeterrent to eating trash food as well.

In the last month I have upped mygame to 320 lunges in an hour. Yesreally. We started with low weights (2kg per arm) and then went up to awhopping 12kg weights per arm. Ittook me two days to get over it!

Kane is determined to get my stomachflatter and today we spent the wholehour working on the abs and tummy. Ican feel my waist actually goes in nowand I can’t wait to ditch the winterwardrobe and buy a whole newsummer one to show off my newtoned body.

I think I am going to start on the herbalshakes for breakfast to give my body aprotein boost as well. Watch this spaceas to how it works out.

What is acupuncture?Acupuncture is an ancient form of holistic traditionalChinese medicine that has been used for over 2000 years. It is based on the principal that vital energy flowsthroughout the body in pathways called ‘meridians’. Whenthis natural energy or ‘qi’ cannot flow freely, it is believedthat pain and illness can occur. Acupuncture treatmentuses the insertion of ultra fine sterile needles intoacupuncture points which are located within the meridianlines to restore the flow of qi. The aim of this is to restorethe balance of qi within the body and trigger its naturalhealing response.

What conditions is Acupuncture used for?Acupuncture can be used for many conditions, howeverwithin Physiotherapy it is mainly used for pain relief. Hereare just a few conditions a Physiotherapist will useacupuncture for:- Back Pain- Sciatica- Fibromyalgia- Frozen Shoulder- Chronic Pain- Post-operative Pain- Relief of Muscle spasm

Do Acupuncture and Physiotherapy work together?Acupuncture compliments physiotherapy very well.Acupuncture can provide effective pain relief, trigger thebody’s natural healing response and release muscle spasmwhilst being used in conjunction with variousPhysiotherapy techniques; to restore muscle and soft tissuebalance, normal movement, function and build strength.

Is Acupuncture safe?Acupuncture is very safe. Single use disposable needles areused by a trained professional. There is said to be less riskshaving acupuncture than receiving an injection forvaccination purposes.

There are some risk factors (as with every procedure)however these are very unlikely to occur. Your health careprofessional will explain these thoroughly to you beforetreatment.

For more information regarding acupuncture orphysiotherapy, or to book in for treatment, giveLyndsey a call on 07521952789

No7 Tint Cream Blush (£10)If you’ve never used cream blush before this is a greatone to start with. As a stick formation its incrediblyeasy to use, adds just a hint of colour and can belayered up for a stronger look. Also it won’t break thebank.

Per-fekt Cheek Perfection Gel (£24)The new kid on the block this season and already hasa celeb following ( including Victoria Beckham, BlakeLively and Katy Perry). It’s more technologicallyadvanced than most and with good reason to be- it notonly leaves a gorgeous glow but uses smart colourtechnology to assure a perfect skin tone match. Andas if that wasn’t enough theres vitamin B to improvecirculation and vitamins A & E for protection.

SmashBox O-Glow (£20.50)For sheer innovation and wow factor this is amust for any make up bag. A clear gel that’sdesigned to react to your natural skin tone, turningthe colour that you blush naturally.

Bare Escentuals mineral blush (£20)100% pure for those of you wanting something kinder to your skin, this will give a beautiful healthy tone with a soft radiant glow.

Pixi Sheer Cheek Gel (£12.50)This little gem of a gel works double time, not only is it a long lasting sheer blushit moisturises as you apply it. Its easy to wear giving that lush dewy, subtle glossfinish that all the celebs have.

Also look at MeMeMe (Superdrug £6.49) These blushers look very similar to another well known brand but work just aswellat the fraction of the cost and ELF cosmetics also do some great products.

To Blush and Beyond!!At this time of year we can all feel a bit pale andsuffer from that post festive fatigue, but thereare ways to combat this so that there is noexcuse not to have that spot of colour and allimportant spring lift.

There are many formulations and brands tochoose from and it can be incredibly confusing,as a general rule the colour your cheeks arenaturally is the shade to go for. As for whichtype well, for those with sensitive skin and/orallergies try minerals, for those with drier orolder skin head towards gels or creams andthose lucky enough to be young or with perfectskin powder is the one to go for. Howevereveryone is different so go for what your happywith. Here are a few of my favourites………..

There are so many to choose from, try before you buy if you canand look at it outside aswell!! If you need advice/help or want tobook an appointment contact me on either 07950411777 or viaface book Jennie MUA Freedland

So enjoy, play and experiment ( where the purse strings allow!)and make the most of those cheeks.

BOUDOIR BOUTIQUE’S GOT THE X FACTOR ASREBECCA FERGUSSON IS SPOTTED IN CAVERN WALKS

Wondering how X Factor runner-up Rebecca Fergusson is spending her first pay-check after reportedly securing a £1million recording deal? The singer from Anfield was spotted in Liverpool’s Cavern Walks picking up some goodies from

Boudoir Boutique, including a coat, head-band, two dresses and a Zandra Rhodes handbag.

Store owner Amy Keating says: “Rebecca was lovely, and very complimentary about the store. She kept saying how muchshe loved the ‘Darling’ and ‘Aftershock’ collections we have just got in, and said the bits and pieces she had chosen were

the first things she had purchased since leaving the X Factor.”

Rebecca was since pictured in the electric blue head-band designed by Hannah Marsden at an appearance inTwickenham, where she performed at the Harlequins vs London Irish Rugby Match. Rebecca has always been a regular at

Cavern Walks, having worked at the Lucy in the Sky café prior to auditioning for the hit ITV talent contest.
