I.YourHighSchoolPlanEverystudentinIUSDisassignedacounselorattheirhighschoolwhoassistsstudentsfromgrades9through12withtheiracademicplanning.Alltenthgradestudentsandtheirparentsaregiventheopportunitytomeetwithacounselor,reviewtheiracademicskillsandinterests,andcreateahighschoolgraduationplanaswellasaplanforlifeafterhighschool.Ifyouareconsideringattendingafour-yearcollegeoruniversitywhenyougraduate,youwillneedtobecomeknowledgeableintheA-GcourserequirementsforadmissiontotheUniversityofCalifornia(UC)orCaliforniaStateUniversity(CSU).Youwilllearnmoreaboutcollegeadmissioncriteriainthisguide.
