Active drilling rigs in Kazakhstan as of Oct 1st, 2013 is estimated at: 135 rigs – Kazakhstan Land 105 rigs – Turkmenistan Land 3 rigs – Offshore (ROK sector of the north Caspian Sea) 3 rigs – Offshore (TKM sector of the South Caspian Sea)
A) Offshore AgipKCO EPC 4 (Saipem) have been drilling top hole sections since Dec 2012. EPC -3 (Deutag T-47)was expected to start drilling again in Sept 2013 (start of reservoir section drilling) and EPC – 2 (Saipem) will start drilling again in Oct 2013. NCOC announced the start of oil production from Kashagan on Sept 11th and it is expected that the full Phase 1 production daily target will be reached by mid 2014. Eurasia Drilling (EDC) 3rd jackup rig (Neptune) is almost completed construction in Astrakhan and should be ready to begin operations for Dragon Oil in Turkmenistan in Q1 2014.
Construction of their fourth jack-up drilling rig (Mercury), is proceeding in the Lamprell yard in Sharjah and planned completion is Q4 2014. Teniz Burgylau (TB) commissioned their new drilling barge (Caspian Explorer) in 2012 and completed drilling of the 1st well for Zhambyl Petroleum (ZPL) in the shallow water Zhambyl block in July 2013. The barge will be stationed in Bautino during the winter months then resume operations for ZPL in May 2014.TB new KFELS B Class jackup (Satti) is under construction in Aktau & Kuryk. It is designed to operate in waters up to 80m but upgradeable to 125m. Delivery is expected in Q1 2015. Dragon Oil Turkmenistan are expecting to mobilize their new F&G Super M2 jackup during Q4 2013 from Kuryk to LAM oil field offshore Turkmenistan. The rig (Caspian Driller) was built by CIMC in China and assembled in Astrakhan & Kuryk. Rig Management will be provided by Momentum Engineering (Dubai). B) Land KPO activated Parker Drilling Rig 258L in Jan 2013 and now have 2 deep drilling rigs active in Karachaganak field for the next 3 years. KMG and Nabors Drilling are expected to form a partnership to conduct drilling operations for TCO as part of the Future Growth and Wellhead Pressure Maintenance Project. If these projects are approved and move forward, TCO are expected to have up to 3 new pad land drilling rigs to drill some 100+ new wells in Tengiz and Korolev fields starting in 2015. PKKR Kyzlorda (9 rigs), Emir Oil (4 rigs) & Maersk (3 rigs) Mangistau, & Zhaikmunai West Kazakhstan (6 rigs) continue their high activity during 2013. The Editor

ТОО ККБК «Вели-кая стена» самостоятельно проводит работы по бурению, креплению, ремонту, испытанию и освоению скважин. Предоставляет услуги по бу-рению вертикальных, горизонтальных, наклонно-направленных, много-ствольных скважин, услуги по отбору керна, также по ликвидации аварий в скважине, по обработке бурового раствора, занимается проектирова-нием бурения, подготовкой буровой площадки, монтажом и демонтажом буровых установок, а также проводит другие вспомогательные работы.
ТОО ККБК «Великая стена» представляет собой специализирован-ное буровое предприятие, которое имеет высококвалифицированный персонал, конкурентоспособную технологию и передовое оборудова-ние с мощностью бурения до 7000 м. Персонал Компании составляет более 2500 человек, из них 95% местных кадров. В собственности Ком-пании 27 буровых установок типа ZJ70, ZJ50, ZJ30 с буровыми бригада-ми и полностью укомплектованным вахтовым поселком, также имеется своя собственная производственная база, где на месте производится ремонт оборудования, цех по испытанию ПВО, тампонажный участок, отдел буровых растворов с собственной лабораторией и т.д.
В 2011 году Компания сдала 39 скважин, общая проходка по всем месторождениям составила 176 583 метров. Начиная с 1999 года и к концу 2011 года пробурено и сдано 469 скважин с общей проходкой 1 885 214 метров.

Sino-Kazakhstan Great Wall drilling company LLP - is the largest drilling company in the territory of Kazakhstan. Company successfully carries out works since 1999. SKGW provides drilling, cementing, work-over services, well testing and development of wells independently. It also carries out drilling services of vertical, horizontal, directed and mul-tilateral wells, coring services, services on accident elimination in a well, drilling mud conditioning, drilling programming, drilling site preparation, rigging-up and rigging-down and other different byworks.
SKGW represents the specialized drilling company with the highly skilled personnel, competitive technology and the advanced equipment with capacity of drilling up to 7000 m.
