OBJECTIVE (Standard)
Students will learn the most important facts of the China’s flourishing civilization. And practice team work, do research on secondary resources. They will also be able to understand the two philosophies that govern China at that time.

Read some Tao quotes to the students.
Give time to the students to do some research in
the book about Taoism.
Groups of 3. In their notebooks they have to
compare Confucianism and Taoism using a Venn
Diagram
Students draw the Venn diagram in a poster and
paste it on the wall.

reflection, about their philosophy of life and
conduct, to find out what they really are and
believe in and how they show it in their cloth
style, conduct music, etc.
Students write in a sheet of paper a reflective
essay about their philosophy of life.
Respect to other’s philosophy of life. Reflect on the way we live.

their websites.
Students will create a flash animation with music about
themselves, explaining how in their life they show their
philosophy of life (by fashion, music, conduct, etc) they
will upload it to their web site.
