CORONA CASH RAFFLE—Since the Blessed Trinity Parish picnics have been cancelled and several individuals and businesses had already responded to the annual raffle donation, the picnic committees are developing a cash raffle so that advertisers will be given credit. If you did not receive a letter or would like to contribute to this one-time fundraiser, please contact Traci Caselton at 618-535-8248 or Sarah Kinder at the parish office at 883-2400 asap. The prizes will be of considerable cash amounts and the drawing will take place on November 10 at the monthly finance council meeting, just in time for holiday shopping. Tickets will be distributed sometime next month. BT PSR—Please turn in the registration forms for the 2020/2021 PSR program. We need to get a count of the students so that books can be ordered. We are also looking for someone to teach the upper grade classes. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Tammy Franke, 618-535-6099 or [email protected] SFA PSR—We are looking for a catechist and at least one co-catechist. Please contact the office at 576-2628 if you feel a calling to this wonderful ministry! Registration forms are on-line through our FB page or website, sfacalhoun.com. You may also pick one up at the parish office in Hardin. A message of thanks: Bishop Paprocki would like to thank the faithful, parish response teams, and all the priests, deacons, and religious of our diocese for their patience, sacrifice, and hard work during this COVID-19 pandemic. First Friday Visits resumed July 3. If your loved one would like Father to bring Communion and visit, please call either parish office.
St. Barbara's Altar Society will meet July 6. Ladies are asked to come to church at 7:15 p.m. to pray the Rosary for the repose of the soul of deceased member Sarah Jane Funk. The business meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the basement, with seating at the appropriate distance.
