Tae Kwon Do
June 24th, 2013 was the last class until August.
Our first class back will be August 5, 2013.
Drumming Thursdays, 5—8 pm
Starting July 4, 2013, we will be moving drumming
to the Xá:ytem Longhouse to continue making
good use of the property for our people.
Summer Student Positions
The submissions have closed as of Friday June 21st.
Thank you to those Youth who have submitted their resume and shown an interest in working this
summer.
Youth Summer Schedule
You may find a tentative Youth Summer Schedule located in the gym on the bulletin board and on Page
4 of this newsletter. Please note that things may change, but we will try to maintain having activities
during the day for most days of the week.
Canoe Skipper Training July 6-7, 2013
We are in the process of arranging a Canoe Skipper Course. If you are interested in learning how to skip
a canoe and learn canoe safety please contact me if you are interested:
Details:
- 12 Participants needed
- Must be 15+ Years Old
- LFN Members
- Duration of the course is 9AM-4PM for 2 days. DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED PENDING REQUIRED
AMOUNT OF PARTICIPANTS.
- Training is expensive per person. If you are interested and sign up, please commit yourself to attend
the course.
