Terminology

Defect/Bug• A defect/bug is a difference found between the test case actual and expected results.

Test Case• Test Cases document the input, expected results and execution conditions of a given test

item.

Test Data• Set of input data used in test case execution

Test Plan• Multiple test cases together in one document

Quality Control• The process by which product quality is compared with applicable standards, and the action

taken when nonconformance is detected.

Test Case DescriptionFileSite save a desktop document to your personal workspace

Describe the overall objective of the test case.

Setup/ Dependencies

Ensure the test system is set up with FileSite dummy matters, create a document on the desktop

Overall Test Case execution status

This status ties to the test case in the 'Test Case Summary sheet'. Once test case is completed update the Summary sheet with the Pass or Fail status.

Open Outlook by double clicking the Outlook icon on the desktop Outlook Opens

From the Navigation pane, navigate to a folder in your personal workspace in FileSite to save the attachment to > Click hold and drag the attachment on your desktop into that FileSite Folder

New Profile dialog box appears

Click on the seach button next to 'Doc. Type' (square with ellipsis)

Select Doc. Type dialog box appears

Pick a word to search on and type in the 'Show all possible entries that match' field > Click 'Find Now' > Click 'OK'

Save' button is no longer greyed out

Click 'Save' New Profile dialog box closes

Click on the Folder in your personal workspace that you saved the file to
