Learning Partner Instructions for Introducing POW

1. Watch the video with your student or at a time that is convenient for you.

2. Make copies of the POW Strategy Chart and POW Flash Cards.

3. Your student will also need 1 piece of paper (either notebook, plain or

scratch paper) and a pencil.

4. I would also suggest that you get a pocket folder where your student can

keep charts and eventually essays. The teacher on the video will have

students put their materials in their folders.
