LEARNING INTENTIONS SUCCESS CRITERIA

We are learning (to)…• utilize questioning strategies to discuss eating and drinking habits and to express our opinions about food/drinks

• evaluate language, using ‘gusta’ and ‘gustan’ at the appropriate times & how to use me, te, le, nos, and les correctly

• describe foods

We’ll know we’re successful when we can…• ask and answer target questions, including questions using ‘gusta’ vs. ‘gustan’

• talk about others’ preferences using the correct forms of gustar in complete sentences

• use our “recycled” structures with different ‘ser’ & adjective forms considering gender & quantity (i.e. the concept of agreement) to make grammatically-correct sentences to describe foods.

Las reglas:

1)You will be on a team – odds or evens. You can’t switch teams.

2)You must only land on a # that is appropriate for your team.

3)Sra. M. will pull one # from each cup (1 odd/1 even).

4)The people standing on those numbers must give a grammatically correct and complete sentence to earn a point for their team.5)Move around when the music starts until it stops & land on a new number. The process repeats!

6) The team with the most points will win candy! Ooooh! Aaaah!

FYI: There will be 4 rounds: gustar/ser/adjectives/conjugated verbs
