All children are naturally imaginative and at CCGS we do

everything we can to inspire creativity and

independence of thought.

Opportunities for self-expression are a

feature of our broad and balanced curriculum. Incorporating visual arts, dance, drama,

debating and creative writing, there are many ways that every child

can shine.


We cherishHARDWORK & PLAY

It was music that inspired the school to

open in 1898.

It is difficult to imagine a school having a better

music program. Our children have access

to regular school concerts, assemblies

& soirees. Weekly lunchtime instrumental

sessions, orchestra and chapel choir take place throughout the school. There are a

number of ensembles including drum attack, jazz, senior and junior strings, ukulele band, multimedia, marimba

and guitar.

Apart from the music skills, children also

learn that hard work can be fun. In order to produce sounds that delight, there is no

substitute for practice and determination.

At CCGS, Kinder offers valuable learning mixed with fun.

School is also about learning to care. We

do everything we can to teach a deep

and meaningful appreciation of each other, our learning

spaces and the wider world. Girls and
