AIMSThis program is designed to develop the strategic leadership capacity required to succeed in today’s challenging manufacturing environment.

The program is aimed at current senior management and developing business leaders; assisting participants to develop a comprehensive skill set across strategic, tactical and operational competencies.

This is an interactive learning program of workshops, case studies, site visits and peer learning; offering you a unique opportunity to: • Create game changing strategies • Enhance your leadership skills and personal impact on the business • Develop a culture of continual innovation and improvement • Lead your team to create increased customer value • Confidently lead your team through change • Apply your learnings in a real-life

project addressing a current business issue and conducted with mentoring from program facilitators over a period of 6-8 months

BENEFITSDuring the course of the 9-month program you can expect to: • Undergo a leadership self-assessment; create your own personal development plan • Learn and apply lean concepts in manufacturing during interactive workshops • Build a Business Improvement Plan, incorporating the program learnings as you go• Undertake a real-life project; applying skills and knowledge gained

from the program to an immediate issue facing your business

Anthony Clyne Qualifications:• Bachelor of Engineering, RMIT University• Masters in Business Administration, RMIT University

Anthony Clyne is one of Australia’s most experienced and respected lean consultants. He has a deep understanding of lean thinking, with an ability to explain and apply the concepts in many different processes. This is based on his impressive record of lean manufacturing experience across a range of industries including food, automotive, minerals processing and transactional processes.

As a graduate Engineer at the Ford Motor Company, Anthony was initially taught standardised work using yamazumi by Japanese-based Mazda engineers. During the time he worked with automotive suppliers to reduce costs, Anthony received further training from the US-based Toyota Sensei and was also mentored locally by a highly respected TMCA Lean Sensei (Teacher).

Anthony gained further valuable experience with gaming machine manufacturer, Aristocrat Leisure and then in a senior quality leadership role at Arnotts. Since partnering with TXM Anthony has worked with clients including Schuetz DSL, Trimas Corporation, Rosebank Engineering, Agilent Technologies, AstraZeneca, Ferguson Plarre, Branach Engineering, and Jeff Sykes & Associates.
