Manager cần phải luôn có ý thức rằng chúng ta đang được che chở bởi những người xung quanh. Việc loại bỏ những người cấp dưới bất lợi cho mình, đồng nghĩa với việc làm mất đi người che chở cho mình, thành ra địa vị của mình sẽ cũng bị giảm. Ngoài ra, cần thiết phải giác ngộ rằng việc đánh trả lại những việc làm bất lợi cho bản thân từ bạn bè, đồng nghiệp, sẽ gây ra tổn thất cho tổ chức giống như bị tấn công từ kẻ thù. Trong quản lí, cần thiết phải có sự nhẫn nại.
