Lunch options at LCTI How it works: Every student will have their own personal lunchroom account based on their current student ID number. Students can access their accounts by swiping their ID card or entering their ID number on the PIN pads located at every register. All students should have their ID card or know their student ID number as this will make the lunch lines move much faster. Not all students are scheduled to have lunch at LCTI, please check with your home school before sending any payments to the school. How much is it? How can I pay? The cost for regular lunches will be determined prior to the first day of school. Although students may still pay cash, we encourage parents to deposit money into the student's account. Monies paid into a student account can be used towards any purchase in the cafeteria. All monies need to be submitted to the lunch cashier or the business office. We recommend that parents send in checks rather than cash. What are the options for meals? Parents can request that the monies on the student's account be used to purchase only lunch or al a carte items if they so choose. Benefits for Parents and Students: Students will be able to purchase nutritious lunches or ala carte items served in our cafeteria. Lunch is defined as a choice of entrée, milk choice, and up to three side dishes. Prepaid accounts for all students allows parents to deposit money in their student's account, in any amount, at any time, and not have to be concerned with giving their student the exact change every morning. Students may apply monies to their account while in the lunch line with cash or a check (with the student ID# on it) or bring it to the Business Office. All student ID numbers are confidential.

Lunch options at LCTI

How it works:Every student will have their own personal lunchroom account based on their current student ID number.

How can I pay?The cost for regular lunches will be determined prior to the first day of school.Although students may still pay cash, we encourage parents to deposit money into the student's account. Monies paid into a student account can be used towards any purchase in the cafeteria. All monies need to be submitted to the lunch cashier or the business office. We recommend that parents send in checks rather than cash.

What are the options for meals?Parents can request that the monies on the student's account be used to purchase only lunch or al a carte items if they so choose.

Benefits for Parents and Students:• Students will be able to purchase nutritious lunches or ala carte items

served in our cafeteria.• Lunch is defined as a choice of entrée, milk choice, and up to three side

dishes.• Prepaid accounts for all students allows parents to deposit money in their

student's account, in any amount, at any time, and not have to be concerned with giving their student the exact change every morning.

• Students may apply monies to their account while in the lunch line with cash or a check (with the student ID# on it) or bring it to the Business Office.

• All student ID numbers are confidential.• Prepayment allows for better security rather than cash.• For those students receiving free or reduced meals, their meals will be

rung up as all the other meals are. No one will know whether they are receiving a free or reduced meal or debiting their account, except for the cashier.

• Lunch lines move faster when meals are prepaid, thus providing students extra time to enjoy their lunch period.

• ID card readers/pin pads are located at every terminal; they provide ease of use and allow for quick transactions.

• Once the transaction has been completed, your student will know his/her account balance.

• Students may use any register.
