Beautiful triple date Heuer in good condition from 1950’s with AS 1315 caliber and 17 jewels.

Lovely triple date Heuer watch from the 1950’s. The watch is in 10K gold filled and comes with a cream dial and gold Arabic numerals. The date day and month are below 12 o’clock with logo right below. The calendar day of the month is around the outside dial with blue Arabic numbers and with a blue-twisted hand to indicate the calendar day. Two pushers come at 2 and 4 o’clock for the calendar and time. Inside the case comes engraved, “10K gold filled – L&K - #1254”. The watch comes with an automatic bumper movement with caliber AS 1302 from 1948 or AS 1315 for the calendar with 17 jewels. It has a power reserve of 33 hours. On the movement comes “Heuer – ED Heuer & Co.” – Swiss – AOC – 17 jewelsThe watch comes with two bands; one is a black leather band. It also comes with its original 10K gold-filled speidel band.

The company was founded by Edouard Heuer in 1860 in opening a watch comptoir (dealership) in Saint Imier. In 1864, he moves to Bienne with a signed “E Heuer & Compagnie”. 1869, he applied for a patent for an “Independent crown-winding system”. In 1880, he is the first watch producer to start on the series production of chronographs. In 1910 Heuer creates the “doctor’s chronograph with pulsometer. In 1916 Heuer register a patent for the “Microsplit”. 1930, Heuer patented the design of waterproof case. 1949 comes the “Solunar” and the magic “Carrera” in 1963. 1964, Heuer merged with Leonidas S.A. Since 1999, the company is owned by the LVMH Group. In 2006, the “Carrera 360” took up the mantle of the “Microsplit”, a stopwatch accurate to 1/100th of a second. Technical details
