On behalf of the Student Development team, we would like to welcome you into the Covenant family. We are excited you have

decided to make Covenant College your home for the next four years. Many people have been working hard to plan for your arrival and for a fun, educational Orientation program to help you adapt and adjust to life at Covenant.

“In all things Christ preeminent” is more than our motto – it is the measure we pursue in all that we do. We seek Christ’s preeminence in academics, athletics, events and activities, relationships, and every other area of life. This is what makes Covenant unique and most likely a big reason why you chose to come here. Orientation serves the purpose of easing you into the personal,

Page 5: Launch 2014

emotional, and social transition here at Covenant. It also allows us to explain the expectations that the College holds for our students.

LAUNCH 2014 is a necessary, and fun way to prepare for one of the most exciting times of your life. You will learn and grow tremendously in your time here at Covenant College. LAUNCH 2014 is only the beginning, and the springboard that will help you jump into life here at Covenant.

The Orientation and Core Teams are ready to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have. The Office of Student Development (Carter 138) will be open throughout Orientation, as well as during the school year. Please feel free to stop by anytime as we are here to serve you. We look forward to meeting you and pray you feel at peace in knowing that God has placed you here at Covenant.

Grace and Peace,

Julie Moore Associate Dean of Students, Student Life

Sam GuthrieCoordinator of Student Leadership
