The box contains a giant 108-piece puzzle with special double-sidedpieces and a set of removable stickers featuring 108 words. The large picture of a house places the learning experience within a specific context, facilitating semantic comprehension and vocabulary learning.

The game is based on a highly effective, guaranteed teaching method which is split into three steps which give children time to recognize the words, expand their vocabulary and learn the correct pronunciation. Each puzzle piece has a picture of somethingon the back and the word for it. Children learn the word by associating it with the picture. This association helps the child to recognize the word as having a specific meaning. This first learning step can be completed more graduallyby working with groups of words at a time. The groups can be taken from the puzzle, i.e. each section of the drawingrepresents a specific vocabulary group. The tiles can be used as flashcards to present to the children, one at a time, saying the name of the item picturedout loud.

The second step of the game involves the use of the removable stickers. Children will enjoy building the picture-word associations on each tile (or group of tiles). Show the drawing side of a tile and ask them to find the word for it in the stickers provided.Once they’ve found the right sticker, they can stick it in the space on the tile.

This part of the game is also useful to check if the words and their meanings have been learned. Lastly, the children can have some fun assembling the 108-piece jigsaw and completing the many details on the picture.

The learning process is completed with the interactive app, designed to teach the correct pronunciation of the words featured in the puzzle. Using the microphone function, the children can practice saying the words until they pronounce them correctly. This process reinforces their learning, extends and hones their skills by adding listening and verbal components.

Easy English APP

Vocabulary building can be further reinforced by asking the children to stick the stickers in the correct spaces again. They can be left to play by themselves or prompted with some simple questions.
