“Mom, I’d like to tell you...” Lola Mumbles.
“Later sweetie”, answers mom quickly,
“you’ll be late for school”.
On the school playground Lola approaches the teacher. But the
teacher has already a little one up on her arms.
At lunch time in the dinning room everybody’s chewing. Lola says
nothing.
“Sweet words”, she thinks,”are not for chewing”.
It’s break time. Everybody’s playing in a ring. Lola couldn’t utter a single word,
not even a sweet word.
Going out of school, there’s Frankie, the king of the skateboard. He’s rolling down the
street.
Lola’s in love with him. It is to him that she wants to offer her sweet words the sweetest.
How rude! He passes through right in front of her nose without stopping,
without saying anything, without waiting for her sweet words.
At dinner time, she finds meat disgusting, the salad looks bad, the
apples are rotten and the soda is tasteless.
Lola has finally managed to say her sweet words. As sweet words are gone they really work.
Immediately, everything turns in cuddles and kisses for Lola...
But as she’s climbing up the stairs to her bedroom she feels a little bit worried:
What if tomorrow the sweet words don’t come back?
As soon as Lola turns the light off, she calms down, tomorrow’s sweet words are already in her bedroom
