• started on 1 July 2005 for water supply andstarted on 1 July 2005 for water supply andcommercial users.

• Parallel to Section 44 (1)a & 59(1)a, LUASEnactment 1999. The charge rates are RM0.01/ m3 for water supply and RM 0.05 /m3for commercial usersfor commercial users.

• The charge will be used to conserve thewater resources and environments.
