1st International Pathology ConferenceAn International Conference on the Subject of Pathology was organized by University of Lahore &Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan jointly during Health Asia 2018 International Exhibition & Conferences held at Lahore Expo Centre – Pakistan. It was a 2 days conference took place on 11th & 12th April 2018.

CLINICAL WORKSHOP OF ICP MONITORINGThe most advanced Scientific Course of ICP Monitoring by the Microchip catheter in Pakistan and a Scientific meeting to discuss its therapeutic consequences in traumatic brain injury was conducted by the Department of Neurosurgery Jinnah Hospital / Allama Iqbal Medical College Lahore and Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd.
The program of course stimulated both, clinical knowledge and scientific intellect through a combination of interesting lectures, engaging “hands on“ workshop and clinicaldiscussions by expert Panel.
A holistic and interactive approach was employed in planning the course in which discussion was held on the latest techniques, management of concurrent conditions, compilations andcontroversies in ICP monitoring. Interesting results of monitoring and their therapeutic consequences were discussed by an expert panel in the final segment of the course.

MATERNAL HEALTHHealth Asia International Exhibition & Conferences once again provided a platform to address issues related to Maternal Health. The Girls & Women Health Initiative (GWHI Society) and Ecommerce Gateway organized 5th Seminar on Maternal Health where the Speakers expressed their utter dissatisfaction on maternal health care services especially Emergency Obstetric Care at the time of emergency. They demanded that Traditional Birth Attendants (TBAs) should be replaced by Skilled Birth Attendants (SBAs).
It was suggested that the SBAs should be trained with the skills necessary to manage normal labor and delivery, who could recognize complications early and perform essential interventions.

SAFE BLOOD TRANSFUSIONIn the patronization of Pakistan Society of Haematology a Seminar on Safe Blood Transfusion was organized alongwith the exhibition. The President of societyProf. Dr. Nisar Ahmed, Professor of Haematology and BMT, Head of Pathology Department, The Children's Hospital & Institute of Child Health, Lahore started the session with his opening speech in which he stressed the need for Safe Blood Transfusions and the importance of maximum conservation of the patient’s own blood rather than depending on donor blood supply.

SEMINAR ON MEDICAL DEVICES - 2017Healthcare Devices Association of Pakistan - HDAP jointly with Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. organized a Seminar on Medical Devices Rules – 2017.
The Seminar was one of the chain of events which conitnues the aims of promoting members’ ability of HDAP, and thereby expand their ability to deliver benefits to patients, healthcare providers, employees, shareholders, and the local communities in which they do business.
The Session was started with the Introduction of HDAP by Mr. Shakeel Ahmed Shaikh - Chairmanm - HDAP who focused on the current activities of HDAP as well as shared some of the future plans / strategies.
Moving Further, Mr. Shakeel Ahmed Shaikh emphasized on the Role of HDAP to Simplify Medical Devices Rules – 2017.
The Senior Execuitve Committeed Member, Mr. Masood Ahmed talked about the HDAP Members Difficulties / Ambiguities on Medical Devices Rules - 2017 whereas Mr. Muhammad Ayub Naveed, Assitant Director - MD&MC gave an explanation about the Medical Devices Rules - 2017.
5th International Pharma ConventionFocusing on the theme “cGMP”, the 5th Edition of International Pharma Convention proved its importance and ultimate success once again. The convention took place on 10th April 2018 at Lahore Expo Centre in-conjunction with the Biggest Pharma Industry Event of Pakistan - 14th Pharma Asia International Exhibition & Conferences, jointly organized by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd and Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association – PPMA.
