Pre-AP Lab Safety-Super Hero Cartoon Instructions

Objective: To create an “original” Super hero whose main objective in life is to rescue science students around the world whose lives are in danger because they did not follow the lab safety rules using IOS free app Comics Head or similar software.

1) Students should select 1 of the 21 Lab Safety Rules to base the storyline of the cartoon on.

2) A minimum of 5 frames/boxes must be used when creating your digital cartoon.

The title frame & safety rule frame do not count as part of the required 5.

3) A minimum of 3 different colors must be used. White does not count because it is the color of the paper.

4) You must include the name of your super hero within the storyline of the cartoon.

5) You must depict at least one character NOT following the safety rule you selected

in your digital cartoon.

6) Your safety rule must appear in a frame by itself at the beginning or end of your digital cartoon.

7) An original title must be included in a frame at the beginning of your cartoon.

8) You should be as creative and gory as you see fit, but most importantly have FUN & take your time when completing your digital cartoon.

Please Note: If you DO have access to an IOS device from home (Mac, IPhone, IPad, etc.) then please use the PREFERRED Comics Head app https://appsto.re/us/HhWQC.i If you DO NOT have access to an IOS device from home (Android, Windows, etc.) then use whatever software program/apps of your choice to generate the digital cartoon.
