Main SpindleThe main spindle of L280 series products is designed with a combination of Ø140mm(Ø5.5″) ball bearings and double angular contact ball bearings. It makes highly accurate uniform cutting possible even during high-speed consecutive operations.
In particular, the enhanced processing and assembling accuracy of the outer ring assembly of the bearings enables the spindle unit to maintain accuracy for a long time. in adittion, the AC spindle motor controlling the speed of the main spindle makes a steady machining operation possible.
