The earlier panel of Independent Safety Assessors (ISAs) for Signalling Projects and Products inthree categories circulated vide above reference is superseded by the present panel with effect from2/]2/2015.
The terms and conditions for operation ofthe panel are given in the last.

Terms and Conditions for Validity of above Panel:
The above panel shall be valid with the following terms and conditions:
i. lSA to be selected by Railway/Metro project organization and not by the signaling systemsupplier.
11. ISA selected for a project should not have been involved in other project activities like generalconsultancy, tendering, design, testing etc. of the same project.
Ill. The panel will be valid for 2 years from the date of issue.
iv. The work awarding organizations (Metro railway/ Zonal Railway/RDSO) shall ensure that thecurrency of accreditation of ISA as per ISO/IEC 17065 is valid on the date assignment given tothem as well as on the date onSA's final report after completion of the assignment.
v. Any adverse report the ISA may be considered suitable reason for deletion of firms name for thepanel.
vi. RDSO reserve the right to continue with the panel and add/delete, name of any/all firms partlyand completely before assigning any reason.
vii. The firms on above panel may authorize their Indian counterpart offices/ Representatives for easein co-ordination, communication and bidding on behalf of the ISA firm. Such authorization maybe communicated to the work awarding organization directly. However, it is made clear that theassessment, certification etc. for the project shall be done by the firm on the panel as above andnot by the Indian representatives.
