After several renowned speakers from all over the globe (including India) discussed their experiences and journey with the curious audiences for three days, the event ended with the announcement of the winners of the Kyoorius Design Awards 2016 that are aimed at honoring the most outstanding work in design and visual communication. Over 1200 people attended the event this year that was presented by Zee. A total of 468 entries were received for Kyoorius Design Awards out of which 43 were the In-Book winners. A total of 2 Black Elephants and 22 Blue Elephants were given across several categories that included Visual Identity Scheme for Startups, Branding (Rebranding) / Visual Identity Scheme, Logos, Consumer Packaging Design, Catalogues and Brochures, Direct Mail, Posters Graphic Design, Exhibition Design, Temporary Permanent Installations, Wayfinding & Environmental Graphics, Retail Design, Graphic Design, Illustration for Design, Typefaces, Writing for Brand Expression, Complete Books, and Design for Good. The winners for the Blue Elephant included NH1, BLOK, O&M, Fitch, Open Strategy & Design, Publicis Communications, Famous Innovations, Kahani Designworks, Godrej Properties, Leaf Design, I-am Associates, Out of the Box, Ek Type, Dynamite Design, Ishan Khosla Design, Company of Design. Kahani Designworks and Ek Type were the two winners of the Black elephants for their campaigns for The State of Architecture and Baloo, respectively. Black Elephants are reserved for the work that is the best amongst the best, work that involves high risk and high dedication and that has a long time impact on the industry. Some of the other winning campaigns included Branding a FinTech Startup in India, Enchanted Valley Carnival, Rajasthan Tourism Logo, Asian Paint Adhesives, It’s How You Look At It, Nerolac Shade Card Calendar, In the News Today, A Wedding Card That Sent Girls Back to School, The 100 Pipers Guitar Series, The Legacy Silos, Lokmat Media, IDFC Bank, The Prodigies of Mother’s Pride, Child Abuse Lasts a Lifetime, TSM – Find Your Calling, Eye Spy Indian Art, Safe Houses. The 11th edition of Kyoorius Design Yatra ended with a gala session at Fairmont,

Jaipur. After several renowned speakers from all over the globe (including India)

discussed their experiences and journey with the curious audiences for three

days, the event ended with the announcement of the winners of the Kyoorius

Design Awards 2016 that are aimed at honoring the most outstanding work in

Pidilite and Samsung.

Rajesh Kejriwal, Founder CEO of Kyoorius said “This year at Kyoorius

Designyatra we aimed to bring together a group of divergent thinkers to

encourage interactions and creativity. We hope people will go back inspired and

with a new passion and vigour towards why they are a part of this ever-growing

industry”.

Speaking about the awards, he added, “The Kyoorius Design Awards have fast

become something of an aspiration for a lot of people within the industry and we

campaigns, creativity and innovation and some of the ideas surpass even our

Since 2006, Kyoorius has championed the creative community in India through
