Feather flower workshop with Aunty Marilyn!

Aunty Marilyn is a member of the Dja Dja Wurrung and a descendant of the Freshwater Murray River Peoples and Saltwater Peoples of the Coorong Coast in South Australia.

Aunty Marilyn’s knowledge of feather flower making stems from her rich knowledge of the natural environment and its resources.

Learn from master weaver Aunty Marilyn Nicholls for a feather flower workshop using feather craft to create a unique and wearable piece. The workshop will cover how to use jewellery tools, select beads and attach earing hooks. Participants will walk away with two pairs of earrings on the day.

walk of Djirra’s KWP. Free 4 hour parking is available on Lulie St, Abbotsford.
