Initiatives @ SEMCOM

Bluebook: A first-of-its-kind technology enabled teaching-learning solution

that brings about a paradigm shift in the education delivery mechanism by

providing students the ability to virtually re-live their classroom experience

on anytime anywhere basis on their own devices.

Voniz: It is an online educational ERP web portal which allows teachers to

manage their class information and knowledge online. It has brought about

revolutionary changes in the interface between teachers and students,

teaching, learning, submission of assignments and projects, distribution of

study materials, etc. It is an active ICT interface among faculty and students.

Students will have access to course material and develop their personal portfolio.

Faculty will be able to track their classes and enhance their interaction with students.

Diploma: College has started the following diploma courses to provide insight into the current industry trends: a. Diploma in Social Media Marketing b. Diploma in Network Security c. Diploma in Computer-based Accounting d. Diploma in Business Idea Generation and Development

Advanced Diploma in Global Business: It is the efforts of the institute to acknowledge the participation of students in various curricular and co-curricular activities in the form of a Diploma Certificate which gives a boost to skills development activities in the college. This diploma was initiated to fill the gap in the university system.

Memorandum of Understanding:

The local industry association, Vithal Udyognagar Industries Association (VUIA), informs about its various programmes to the college.

CVM has signed an MoU with the Gov. of Gujarat, the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) for industrial visits and training.

ELECON Engineering. Co. Ltd. has been sponsoring the coveted Best Business Idea Contest (BBIC) since 2004. ELECON Information Technology Ltd. is also associated with SEMCOM in the implementation of BlueBook. ELECON has also been supporting students by providing 2 laptops to the challenged students.

The institute has an international collaboration with a university in USA.

Institute has signed an MOU with Elitecore Technologies Pvt. Ltd. to

facilitate research activity by faculty and students in the area of

Information Security by providing free Cyberoam devices for training

students for network security.
