Welcome to our “Inaugural Sale”. This is a new beginning at Krieger Farms. We have been

involved in the Simmental breed since 1978. Our operation is a result of growing up in the AJSA

and 4-H programs. Thank you to our parents Pete and Sue Secondino and Marilyn and the late

Larry Krieger for giving us the opportunities to be involved in this cattle industry.

Raising quality cattle is what we do. You will find the best of the Purebred, Percentage and

Commercial worlds combined. I keep asking Mark why we have to sell them. He tells me I have

to learn to share. You will see for yourself the depth of quality in both the breds and opens.

Please join us for a Pre Sale Social, after the Land of Lincoln sale in Altamont, Illinois. We are

approximately 90 Minutes East and North of Diamond A Farms. On Sunday come preview the

Sale cattle in the morning, Lunch at Noon. Sale Starts at 1:30 Indiana Time. Don’t forget to reset

We would like to thank our crew. Jason Morgan, sees to the everyday operation of the farm,

from feeding cattle, calving, and overseeing the crop and hay production. Rusty Searing, puts

a lot of miles on the ranger, checking cows and fences daily. Peter has worked hard to break

the heifer calves to tie. This will help get your 4-H or AJSA Beef Project off to a good start. Ian

McKenzie and Zach Clodfelter came in and clipped most of the sale cattle for Steve’s photo

opportunities. Kenny Jacobson has joined us to make sure the Show and Sale cattle run

smoothly.
