Melbourne, Australia July 1, 2013 From today, the Kraft Foods business in Australia will be known as Mondelēz International, although Australia has been operating as part of the Mondelēz International family of companies since 1 October 2012. The move came as part of the global change in October, when parent company Kraft Foods, Inc. split into two independent companies Mondelēz International, Inc (NASDAQ: MDLZ) and Kraft Foods Group, Inc (NASDAQ: KRFT). “With a new name”, Ms Rebecca Dee-Bradbury, President Developed Markets, Asia Pacific explained, “the business will carry forward the values of its legacy organisation. What we do and why remains the same”. “In Australia, Mondelēz International will continue to be a thought leader in the fields of innovation and sustainability and remains focused on the benefits of a strong working relationship with Asia,” Ms Dee-Bradbury said. “Innovation is one of the keys to the success of our business and to a sustainable manufacturing and food industry in Australia. Our business is committed to unlock innovations and the next family favourite by working closely with suppliers, higher education providers and government”. Mondelēz International is Australia’s fastest growing food manufacturer and an important contributor to the Australian economy. In the past 12 months, the Australian and New Zealand businesses contributed $AUS3.5 billion across to the local economy. Across Australia and New Zealand we employee 3,000 people directly and over 2,000 people indirectly. Mondelēz International is committed to Australia’s manufacturing sector with over 90 per cent of products sold in Australia made in one of our five manufacturing sites located in Claremont (TAS), Port Melbourne (VIC), Scoresby (VIC), Ringwood (VIC) and Suttontown (SA). In 2012, the business introduced 30 new products drawing upon both our local ingenuity and global expertise.

Kraft Foods in Australia changes company name

Kraft Foods businesses in the Asia Pacific region, including Australia, will be known as Mondelēz International from today (1 July)

Melbourne, Australia – July 1, 2013 – From today, the Kraft Foods business in Australia

will be known as Mondelēz International, although Australia has been operating as part of the

Mondelēz International family of companies since 1 October 2012.
