KOMFORT KRUISERS Dec 2017 – Jan 2018
The Vines RV Resort, Paso Robles
I have meant to mention this several times but since it wasn’t in my notes, it didn’t get said. Although Brady and Joanne do not make many rallies, they are always with us in spirit in the form of the glasses that they gave us all last New Years. Every time I see our two and some on the dining tables I always think of you two. Now let’s talk about the festivities. Thursday Wagon Masters: Kathy and Gary H., Don and Betty C. Jaime L and Rich Mc., Jim and Kathe R. Breakfast was a French toast casserole with sausage and fruit. Most of us arrived in the early afternoon in time for sip and stroll. Lots of different vendors, plus cheese meat and grapes put out by the wagon masters. Lots of catching up and purchases being made. Dinner was supplied by the Vines and it was excellent with an auction following. Jeff really knows how to wring the last penny out of a person’s wallet! Friday wagon masters Adone and Greg R., Lea and Jimmy V., Pat and Bill Z. Breakfast burritos were served early to the golfers at 8:30. The rest of us wandered in around 9:00. Some of the golf widows decided to go downtown shopping and have lunch, while others went to a movie. Many of the rest went wine tasting. A lively pet parade was held in the afternoon. For all the dogs that are in this club not many showed up. The winners were: 1st Seba (Maryn and Roger), 2nd Woofie (Barbara and Russ) 3rd Gracie and 4th Sally Mae both owned by Rich and Jaimie. Dinner was build your own burritos with games fallowing. Another auction was held. Saturday wagon masters Paul and Jean J., Hank and Fran C., Rose and Lew C. and Debbie and Mark F. Breakfast was a casserole served with bacon and fruit. After breakfast was the KK meeting. Golf winners were 9th Paul and Bill, the horses ass trophy for a month and chili beans

Then it was time to break out all the blues and blacks for New Years Eve. The catered dinner was fantastic. More auctioning. Jeff is really good, I ended up with a crockpot and I already have four. The gift exchange
was a hoot. I didn’t know there were so many thieves in our group, there was so much stealing going on. The band took over for the rest of the evening and fun, fun, fun was had by all. The dancers danced so much they got over heated and had to open the doors. Many of us made it to midnight and crawled into bed at 1:00 AM or later. Monday wagon master: Rich and Janet, Jaimie and Rich, Pam and Jack, Eileen and Wayne Pancakes and sausages was on the menu. Snacks were provided from the leftovers, and Kathe taught the beaded lanyard that holds our badges. Dinner was a leftovers buffet with cleanup afterwards to see us all on our way. A few casualties of the weekend were Rich E. and Eileen N. Hope you’re both doing better. Terry and Ruth Editors: Terry & Ruth Wood

Submitted by Tery, 12/5/17 After his helicopter was hit and he was forced to auto rotate into the trees, the Army pilot finally regained consciousness. He was in a hospital, in a lot of pain. He found himself in the ICU with tubes/IV drips in both arms, a breathing mask, wires monitoring every function and a nurse hovering over him, looking worried. It was obvious he was in a life-threatening situation. The nurse gave him a serious look, straight into his eyes. Knowing he was an Army helicopter pilot, she spoke to him softly and slowly, enunciating each word: "You may not feel anything from the waist down."
Somehow he managed to mumble in reply, "Can I feel your boobs, then?"
And that, my friends, is a real positive attitude. Submitted by Micheal Cress 10/15/17
A LADY WALKS INTO TIFFANY'S NEW YORK
STORE.. .. SHE LOOKS AROUND, SPOTS A
BEAUTIFUL GOLD BRACELET AND GOES OVER TO
INSPECT IT.
AS SHE BENDS OVER TO LOOK MORE CLOSELY, SHE UNEXPECTEDLY FARTS... VERY EMBARRASSED, SHE LOOKS AROUND
NERVOUSLY TO SEE IF ANYONE NOTICED HER
LITTLE 'OOPS' AND PRAYS THAT A SALESPERSON
WAS NOT ANYWHERE NEAR... AS SHE TURNS AROUND, HER WORST
NIGHTMARE MATERIALIZES IN THE FORM OF A
SALESMAN STANDING RIGHT BEHIND HER... GOOD LOOKING AS WELL AS COOL AS A
CUCUMBER, HE DISPLAYS ALL OF THE QUALITIES ONE WOULD EXPECT OF A
PROFESSIONAL IN A STORE LIKE TIFFANY'S... HE POLITELY GREETS THE LADY WITH, 'GOOD DAY, MADAM. HOW MAY WE HELP YOU TODAY??? BLUSHING AND UNCOMFORTABLE, BUT STILL
HOPING THAT THE SALESMAN SOMEHOW
MISSED HER LITTLE 'INCIDENT', SHE ASKS, 'SIR, WHAT IS THE PRICE OF THIS LOVELY BRACELET ??' HE REPLIED - , "MADAM .. IF YOU FARTED JUST
LOOKING AT IT - YOU'RE GOING TO SHIT WHEN I
TELL YOU THE PRICE ." Submitted by Tery, 11/5/17
SICK IRISH COMPASSION
The Irish just have it in their sick hearts:
A man was sitting on a blanket at the beach. He had no arms and no legs. Three women, from England, Wales, and Ireland, were walking past and felt sorry for the poor man. The English woman said, 'Have you ever had a hug?' The man said, 'No,' so she gave him a hug and walked on. The Welsh woman said, 'Have you ever had a kiss?' The man said, 'No,' so she gave him a kiss and walked on. The Irish woman came to him and said, 'ave ya ever been fooked laddie?' The man broke into a big smile and said, 'no'. She said, 'Aye ... ya will be when the tide comes in.'
