Background of KSC and Community portal…• Knowledge Sharing and Knowledge Services Committee (KSC) is

one of the four goal committees of INTOSAI.

• KSC was formed after the 18th INTOSAI Congress held in Budapestin 2004, wherein a strategic goal was adopted under the StrategicPlan 2005-2010 to encourage SAI cooperation, collaboration, andcontinuous improvement through knowledge sharing, includingproviding benchmarks, conducting best practice studies, andperforming research on issues of mutual interest and concern.

• To achieve this strategic goal, KSC was constituted at XIX INTOSAICongress held in Mexico City, Mexico in November 2007.

Background…

• As per Strategic Plan 2017-22 of INTOSAI, the mandate of KSC is to'encourage SAI cooperation, collaboration, and continuousimprovement through this Goal has also been designated as a hubfor INTOSAI ' s efforts to share knowledge regarding SAIs ' effortsto support and evaluate the Sustainable Development goals withinthe context of varied audit authority.

• Knowledge development, knowledge services including• (1) Producing and revising INTOSAI products;• (2) Providing benchmarks and operating a community portal;

and• (3) Conducting best practice studies and performing research on

issues of mutual interest and concern.'

INTOSAI COMMUNITY PORTAL….

• Thus Community Portal is an initiative of KSC and IDI to provide a forumfor the INTOSAI community to interact on regular basis.

• Designed to enable free communication, knowledge sharing anddissemination of information

• Also serve as a single window of information on the activities of KSC andWorking Groups under it.

• Auditor Centric. Knowledge center platform has rich collection of goodpractices, lessons learned and guidance.

• Interesting insights and experience of other SAIs on matters of yourinterest.

• Members can join Communities of Practices (CoP) and online chats.• Members may arrange for virtual meetings through the in-built Video

conferencing facility.
