All: The Lord’s Supper is a sacrament, wherein by giving and receiving
bread and wine, according to Christ’s appointment, his DEATH is
showed forth; and the worthy receivers are - not after a corporal and
carnal manner - but by faith made partakers of his body and blood,
with all his benefits, to their spiritual nourishment and growth in grace.

CORPORATE CONFESSION OF SIN FROM THE BOOK OF COMMON PRAYER
Most merciful God,
we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed,
by what we have done, and by what we have left undone.
We have not loved you with our whole heart;
we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves.
We are truly sorry and we humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ,
have mercy on us and forgive us; that we may delight in your will,
and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.
THE ASSURANCE OF GOD’S PARDONING GRACE FROM ZEPHANIAH 3: 14-17
Sing aloud, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel! Rejoice and exult with all your heart,
O daughter of Jerusalem! The LORD has taken away the judgments against you;
he has cleared away your enemies.
The King of Israel, the LORD, is in your midst; you shall never again fear evil.
On that day it shall be said to Jerusalem:
“Fear not, O Zion; let not your hands grow weak. The LORD your God is in your midst,
a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.”
