Kitco Defense kitting programs produce significant operational savings. Each Bill of Material (BOM) is procured, packaged and delivered per your unique requirements. Kitting benefits are recognized by the largest defense contractors in the world. This includes our customers Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Sikorsky, among others.

Manufacturing & Structural Assembly
We have successfully manufactured and assembled both A-10 and T-38 wing subassemblies and components, F-5 vertical stabilizers and various mechanical assemblies and ground support components.
Our small size allows us to be flexible and nimble. Our customers include Boeing DSS, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., and the U.S. Government.
We work with qualified aerospace partners for heat treat, plating, NDT and other processes as required. Certification documents are included with product shipments in conformance with US military requirements.

Licensing
We have OEM license agreements with Boeing and Northrop Grumman. The agreements give us access to OEM drawings, technical data packages, engineering, and approved supplier lists for the following platforms:

Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI)
K-Stock is a VMI program designed to:

The program is ideal for consumable parts that are needed on a regular basis. Customers on the program have realize significant savings in administrative costs.

Quality Management System (QMS) AS9100D
We actively pursue continuous improvement. Our QMS is updated and certified to meet AS9100D as well as AQAP2120 and is approved by our 3rd party auditor PRI, as well as by DCMA.
Continuous Improvement
Kitco Defense’s Kaizen (improvement) system guarantees that human ingenuity is captured and that process and part ownership resides with the workers. Each employee at Kitco Defense is encouraged to complete 2 Kaizen ideas per month which is more than 650 per year. Collaboration among groups has resulted in improved employee satisfaction, product quality, and on-time delivery. Continuous improvement has become part of the Kitco Defense culture!
