Drop Offs & Pick Ups

• Avoid double parking. It is illegal and school police may issue tickets. • Drop off your student by the first gate on Alexander near the MP room. • Pre-K/KIDS students will be dropped off and picked up in front of the school • Parents/guardians are required to sign students in and out each day. • Kindergarten students will be picked up at the second Alexander gate. • Parents/guardians must sign out Kinder students at the end of each day. • 1st-5th grade students will be picked up at the first Alexander gate. • Students are required to check in with their teacher before exiting campus. • DO NOT drop off or pick up your student at the front of the school. This parking lot

is closed to prevent students from getting hurt by walking through the parking lot. • U-turns are not allowed on adjacent streets during school hours. It is illegal and law

enforcement may issue tickets.

Parking Lot In the morning, from 8:15 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. and in the afternoon from 3:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., the entire parking lot on D Street is closed for morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up; please plan accordingly. Carson staff and authorized CCSD vehicles are allowed to enter the parking lot for business purposes. *Vehicles displaying handicap signage will also be allowed to enter the parking lot for school business. This closure will increase the parking on D Street, Fredrick Street and Alexander Street. We highly recommend following the rules of the road and practice courteous driving. Please keep the neighboring residents in mind.

Bus Procedures

The busses will arrive on Frederick Avenue on the south side of the school. The students will go directly to the playground to line up at their dot. At the end of the day, students who ride the bus will proceed to the bus gate near room 14 to board. Supervision for bus students is provided daily.

Walkers & Bike Riders

• Students may not be on campus before 8:25 am. • Students who arrive too early will be taken to the office. Parents will be notified. • Bike riders will lock their bikes at the racks near the MP room. • All students & adults arriving and leaving campus are to use crosswalks
