Count how many toes you have in your house. See if you can create an equation to solve. For example: 5+5=10 Then see how many ways that you can make that number.

Log onto iReady using Classlink. Spend at least 20 minutes on there for the day. Try to earn as many coins as you can!

Count the chairs at your kitchen table. How many legs all together does each chair have? Once you find the answer how many ways can you make that number. Example: If your table has 4 chairs you could say 2+2=4, 1+3=4. Make as many as you can. Extra Practice: count to 100 by 10’s and 1’s. (Jack Hartmann on youtube is a favorite!)

Log onto iReady using Classlink. Spend at least 20 minutes on there for the day. Try to earn as many coins as you can!

How many does she have left? Karen collected 93 stickers. She lost 50 of them. How many stickers does she have left?

Log on to iready using the Classlink app. Click onto iready- log in and complete your assigned lesson. This lesson will be a review lesson on how to subtract. Remember we have been working on using tens and ones to add. You should have an assigned lesson called ‘Subtract Multiples of Ten’. Please complete the lesson that is assigned for the day. When a class of 23 kids comes on the ride, how many students are there on the ride altogether? There are 56 children in the line at Toys R Us. When a group of 12 kids comes in the line, how many students are there altogether?

Bill saw 37 dogs at the shelter. If he played with 20 of them, how many dogs does he still need to play with?

Social Studies: American Symbols Science: Living and Nonliving

Introduction to Living and Non-Living Login to Mackinvia from Classlink. Click on the left side of the page on ‘Databases’. Search for ‘DK find out! : what do you want to find out?’ Click ‘Open Now’ Search for ‘Living Thing’

Review from yesterday what makes an organism living and non-living. Take a scavenger hunt around your home and find at least 5 living and 5 non-living things! Tell your parents what things were living and what was nonliving.

Have your child draw 5 living and 5 non-living things. Or Cut out pictures from magazines or newspapers (or search and print online) 5 living and 5 non-living things. Divide a paper in half and label one side ‘living’ and one side ‘non-living’. Display it for all to see!

Log onto Classlink. Then go onto Seesaw. You will be showing what you know. You will sort the pictures according to if they are living or nonliving.
