Repair Summary

Following our examination of the accident damage, we have calculated repair times and methods, which are detailed in theRepair Costs Calculations Section. The repair cost total is estimated at £16,334.86, which is sufficiently lower than the pre-accident value to render the vehicle an economically and physically repairable proposition.

This figure is an estimate based on a visual examination only, so we would allow a reserve cost of £16,375.00 which shouldcover minor additional sundry items, although we would strongly recommend the vehicle is stripped thoroughly to check forany concealed damage prior to ordering parts. We have not authorised the repairer to commence repairs. We have calculatedmy own figures based on Thatcham data, which should be sufficient for a repairer with the correct equipment and knowledgebase to carry out such repairs.

Supplementary Damage

Any significant further items will be subject to a supplementary report. No supplementary items will be approved from therepairer without our expressed written agreement. Repairers should send images and detailed costs of any supplementalitems to [email protected], any other queries relating to the content of this report should be directed to [email protected] and may be subject to additional fees.

We draw your attention to the recovery charge of £350.00 plus vat and accruing storage charges at £30.00 plus vat per day.

We have used Glass's Evaluator, CAP and Parkers Price Guides to assist with the valuation of the vehicle and Glassmatix(Thatcham) and / or Audatex (Manufacturer's) data to compile the estimate. Parts prices are subject to fluctuations. In orderto mitigate losses we have carried out a basic inspection dealing with the vehicle's damaged area and only visually checkedunrelated patent items; therefore we cannot vouchsafe for the condition or roadworthiness of the remainder of the vehicle. Wehave based my valuation upon the mileage reading displayed on the odometer, and assume that the vehicle has itsappropriate documentation such as M.o.T. test certificate where applicable.

We appreciate your instructions and enclose our fee note for your kind attention, which we confirm remains payableirrespective of the outcome of this case. Please ensure this is passed to your accounts department.
