Church renovation fund gets boost from charityTHE local church renovation fund has acknowledged a gen-erous donation of €1,000 from the Charity Shop, Chatsworth Street.

Garda complaintsOUR local Gardai have pointed out that they have received complaints in relation to park-ing issues around the town. There will be close monitoring of the following issues:
Double parking outside
schools; parking on double yel-low lines; parking in disabled bay without valid permit; park-ing in loading bays; parking in bus bays; parking on foot-paths outside Discovery Park; U-turns on the main street, especially at schools.
Gardai are asking people to park with care and avoid the issuing of tickets which cost
money at a time when every Euro counts.

Boys’ BrigadeTHE Boys’ Brigade Midland District Service is in St Mary’s Church, Castlecomer on April 28, 3.30pm.
