Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut isn’t a dramatic overhaul. And while improvements like

better controls are welcome, the frame rate stutters were not invited guests. Regardless, Deadly Premonition

is utterly engrossing. It’s a mess by any objective

standard: the visuals and audio effects are decrepit, combat mechanics are functional at best, and simple activities like driving and navigating are awkward and obtuse. But Deadly Premonition is

absolutely divine all the same, making up its own rules for what it means to be a good game as it goes along, and leaving you happily stupefied by the time you’ve reached its eye-opening finale.

DOGS are great walking com-panions and personal train-ers. Get out and get active with your pet today and you will both reap the rewards.

It is a known fact that dogs are happy and healthy with regular exercise. Most dogs do not exercise when they are on their own. They spend most of their time laying in the yard, waiting for you to come home and play with them. This may lead to anti-social behaviour and boredom such as dig-ging, destructive chewing and barking. Regular walks to different parks and other dog exercise areas such as beaches, river trails and mountains will provide your dog with variety. Why not spoil your pooch with a trip to Tra-more, Co Waterford this sum-mer or at Inistioge’s natural wonderland at Woodstock. Some local pet shops also

provide specific dog walking programs in the south east. This is a great way to get your pooch socialised and share stories or concerns with like minded pet owners.

I addition to taking your dog for a walk there are many activities that promote healthy exercise and assist in forming a closer bond with pet and owner. For those that may use bad weather an excuse not to exercise, try dog agility which is one of several dog sports that can be done inside and outside. The Carlow/Kilkenny Dog Training Club encourage all types of dog sports as well as training for those that need a little help with walking their dog in public.

Don’t delay, the summer is here and there are many rea-sons to get out and get active with your pet today.
