Flag hoisng ceremony and few small performances were done to mark the significance of the day. The prodigious celebraon educed the pride of being Indian strongly and the feeling elevated more with the intone of the Naonal Anthem. To mark the annual celebraon of New Year for the year 2021, and to seek the prime blessing of the Almighty, a grand Hawan Ceremony was performed religiously under the divine fervor and spirituality. Various devoonal mantras were recited by Pandit Ji to invoke the blessing of heavenly God with a wish that this year KIET Group of Instuons may touch the pinnacles of glory in academics as well as in co-curricular acvies. An e-celebraons was conducted for the felicitaon of the winners of 'Young Dronacharya Award' and 'Star Employee of the Year Award' for the Academic Year 2019-2020. The 18th Convocaon Ceremony of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) was held on Saturday 16 January 2021 in the presence of Governor and University Chancellor Honorable Anandiben Patel. On this occasion, 55182 students were awarded the tle & 90 Ph.D. students were awarded degrees. A total of 65 meritorious were awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals. It was extremely proud moment for KIET Group of Instuons when some of our students from B.Tech, MBA, MCA & B. Pharm bagged Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals and added a golden feather in the cap. Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, organized Student's Training Program on “Campus to Corporate:
Importance of Creavity, Innovaon and Right atude” from 18 to 20 January 2021. The resource person for this STP was
Prof. S.L. Sateesh Kumar. This program was mainly for 3 year students. Dr. Neeraj Kumar Gupta (Head EN Department),
Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma (Add. Head, EN Department) were Co-Patron for this program. This program was organized by Dr. Shru
Pandey and Prof. Arika Singh and coordinated by Dr. Surendra Kumar Tripathi and Prof. Varun Sharma. It was a great learning
experience for students.
To bring awareness among students and to develop their insight on ample career opportunies, Career Guidance Centre (CGC) of KIET Group of Instuons organized a webinar on “Acvies and Opportunies Through Career Guidance Centre (CGC)" on 31 December 2020. The Speaker of the event was Dr Pree Chitkara, Manager Instuonal Affairs, Coordinator Career Guidance Centre (Internaonal Relaons).
Department of SD&FC-CCIP, KIET Group of Instuons successfully conducted the valedictory funcon of KICCS-D_HACK 21.0 on 23 January 2021. The event started from 11 January and connued ll 16 January. A total of 904 students from all branches acvely parcipated in the event and the winners were declared at Department and Instute level. All winners were felicitated with cerficate and cash prize worth Rs 35000/-.
One-week Faculty Development Program on “Energy Engineering: Economics Planning and Management” from 25 Jan 2021 to 29 Jan 2021, sponsored by AKTU Lucknow, was organized by Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of KIET. Prof. Subodh Wariya, Dean UG and Entrepreneur, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow joined as Chief Guest of the funcon followed by the expert talk by Dr. Tameshwar Nath, IIIT Bhagalpur, and Dr. Ashwani Kumar Sharma, NIT Kurukshetra.

KIET Group of Instuons paid homage to the son of mother India "Subhas Chandra Bose" Popularly known as 'Netaji' on his 125
birth anniversary. His message of will connue to resonate in the heart of every Indian. In line with the Government of India's declaraon to celebrate the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayan as “Parakram Diwas”, KIET Instuonal Fitness Commiee organized sports event of 100 Meter Race & 4x100 Meter Relay Race for faculty and staff members. The overwhelming and enthusiasc parcipaon in the event is appreciable.
Exceedingly smulang and empowering session for Faculty & Staff Members on "Building Emoonal & Mental Resilience" was organized by the Instute through virtual plaorm on 23 January 2021. The speaker of the webinar was Mr. Sushant Kalra, Founder- Parwarish Instute of Parenng.
A webinar on "Natural Language Processing" was organized by Departmental COE DSDL, KIET Group of Instuons in collaboraon with "DeepLearning AI" on 22 January 2021. The resource speaker for the webinar was Dr. Sridhar Swaminathan from Benne University.
A webinar on "Overview of GST along with the career opportunies under GST" Was organized by KIET School of Management on 16 January 2021. The speaker of the webinar was CA MINAL AGARWAL F.C.A., F.C.S. The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Meenakshi Tyagi (Assistant Professor) & Ms. Renu Sharma (Assistant Professor), KIET School of Management.
