gIVe parenTs a Break prograM (GPAB) 24 January • 9am-1pm 20 February • 6-10pm 21 March • 9am-1pm Air Force families are subject to unique stresses due to the nature of military life -- de-ployments, remote tours of duty, frequent moves, extended working hours, etc. In an ef-fort to help the Airman & Family Services Flight, the Air Force Aid Society and AF Services funds a monthly “Give Parents a Break” program at MacDill CDC 1 for children ages 6 mos to 9 yrs for dependents of AD AF members assigned to MacDill AFB. Families may be referred to this program by Commanders, 1st Sergeants, military chaplains, as well as Airman and Family Readiness Center staff. Reservations will be accepted 2 weeks prior to the GPAB date. Limited number of spaces available; first come - first serve. Spaces not reserved for GPAB will be offered as hourly care to other eligible MacDill families. Parents/Guardians are required to have all CDC Program “hourly care” enrollment re-quirements completed and submitted prior to a reservation being made. Additional in-formation regarding GPAB/Hourly Care enrollment, is available at www.macdillfss.org. Contact CDC 1 at 813-828-3332/5195 for questions.
