This morning we have a prospective Youth Pastor with us in view
of a call to serve on our staff team. I appreciate the diligent work
of our search team in looking for the person that would serve in
this capacity. I am pleased and excited to present him to you
today. We will be voting in both morning services. Please allow
me to take a moment and tell you a little about him.
Ray Manning has been married to Melonie for 10 years. They
have 3 children (Mason-7, Millie-4, Ezra-2). Ray is currently serving
as associate pastor at Ozark Baptist Church in Mantachie where
he oversees the youth ministry. He is currently bi-vocational,
working full time at ESG Operations Inc. Ray also serves part time
as the associate BSU director at ICC. He is a graduate of Blue
Mountain College with a B.S. in Church Related Vocation and is
currently working through New Orleans Baptist Theological
Seminary pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Christian
Apologetics. He has served at Ozark BC since 2011 and served
at Walnut Baptist Church as youth pastor prior to that. As Ray
comes to our team, he will be doing so in a full-time capacity and
continuing to maintain his position as associate BSU director at
ICC. Please join me in praying for and welcoming Ray and his
family to Auburn.
