… never stops building upon itself, starting at age 6 and continuing through
middle and high-school levels up to age 18. Young people can join at any
level. Participants master skills and concepts to aid in learning science and
technology through innovative projects and robotics competitions, while
gaining valuable career and life skills.

2012 Challenge
Senior Solutions
Through the 2012 Senior Solutions Challenge, FLL teams will develop ideas to improve the quality of life for seniors so they can continue to be independent, engaged, and connected in their communities. Teams will find a senior partner, identify a problem facing seniors, propose an innovative solution, and present their ideas at a First Lego League competition.

2012 Challenge
Teams will work with a senior partner to identify an item that has changed in their lifetime and learn about it, including what changes are being developed for the future. Then students will build a working LEGO model of the item that demonstrates how it has changed over time... with working motors and a simple machine!
